Daily shaving often causes problems the common one which includes – razor burns. Try these tips to avoid them.
Razor burn home remedies -
Avoid washing or cleaning your face before using a razor on your skin for a simple reason as the top layer of your old skin acts as a barrier to harsh chemicals which are used prior using a razor.
Never shave in the opposite direction from the hair growth, always go with the direction of your hair growth.
Don’t be too harsh on your skin, use the razor lightly. Preferably use small short strokes instead of a long one. Also use enough shaving cream in the areas to be shaved before using a razor.
Dab your skin dry and use an after shave lotion after shaving.
Don’t jump from your bed to the bathroom to shave or use the razor. At least keep a time gap of 30 minutes between waking up and shaving. This will help you give a neat shave without any burns.
