Migraines can be handled using some home remedies. Migraine remedies - - The best remedy to curb a migraine attack is to sleep preferably in a dark and quite room. Even a short nap would help ease the condition.
- Freeze a wet towel in a refrigerator till it’s reasonably cold. Then place it around your head and eyes for 10 minutes. This act will help constrict blood vessels, returning them to normal size and relieving pain in minutes.
- While rest in a dark room ask your roommate to massage your temples firmly in circular motion until you feel relief.
- As soon as you feel the onset of a migraine attack, grab some salty foods. Salty food when consumed will help calm the attack.
- Use buckwheat pillows as they provide the needed support and help in relieving the pain.
