Constipation remedy
My daughter is 14 month old.she keep get constipate.what i supose to give to her? Milk can constipate her? thank you

Constipation or insufficient stool elimination results in accumulation of toxic nitrogenous wastes. Ensuring a proper diet with enough water helps in preventing such situations. Artificial feeding can be a typical contributing factor for constipation.
Diet plays a vital role in softening the stools, thereby providing relief from constipation. Artificial feed comprising of soya, as an essential ingredient helps. Stomach massage proves beneficial in relieving constipation.
A lubricant, such as cream or oil makes the process easy. Passage of stools, twice a day, portrays the success of the treatment. A bath with lukewarm water also helps. Corn syrup is advised under the guidance of your pediatrician. Apple, prune and apricot juices aid in stool loosening, thereby providing relief from constipation. Dairy products, such as cheese and milk can be constipating for some children. Regularized dose of lactulose is also recommended under a pediatrician’s guidance. Intake of apple juice helps in loosening the faeces. Cereals, spinach, pears, apricot and bananas are also helpful. Application of pressure on the child's stomach muscles can be done by placing the child on its back and rotating the child's legs in a cyclic fashion. Suppositories or laxatives are lest tried under the guidance of a pediatrician.
