Make use of an application of damp cloth pads or packs over the affected areas. Cover the boils with the moist packs three to four times a day. This will cause the carbuncle to drain off easily without causing further infection or pain.


The region surrounding the infection must be cleansed with a gentle soap solution and washed off with cool water three to four times a day. Use a little propyl alcohol dabbed on a cotton wool pad to disinfect the surrounding region of the carbuncle. By doing so, the infection will lessen and help in faster healing of the boil.


Moreover the area around the boil will not get prone to further infections.

Grind cumin seeds to a fine pulp in water and make a thick paste. Apply this paste on the affected area and let it remain. The healing properties of the cumin seeds help to cure and heal the boils. Another way to treat boils is to cleanse the stomach of toxins. Due to the buildup of toxins in the body over a period of time, eruptions manifest, indicating that the body needs to be purged. For this a glass of bitter gourd juice or juice from margosa leaves mixed with a teaspoon of lemon juice must be had on empty stomach for a period of seven days.
