Hair loss is a personal sore point with me too. Although the main reason of hair loss can be varied, it’s extremely embarrassing and depressing to see your beautiful hair parting company with you everyday. The usual amount of hair loss is about a hundred hairs a day although how any one was able to count that specific number is beyond me.

But sarcasm aside I sincerely feel that the scientific world has to come together to find a hair loss cure as soon as possible. A few home remedies by my granny are as follows -

  • Up your intake of vitamin supplements, zinc and magnesium tablets to reduce hair loss.
  • Try to avoid use of strong chemical instead use powdered fenugreek seed to rinse your hair.

Increase you intake of fresh leafy veggies daily too. Avoid use of fine toothed combs. Use a wide mouthed brush instead.
  • My granny recommends liquidizing hibiscus leaves in the blender and using as a shampoo. Yucky smell but funnily enough a really good lather almost equal to shampoos.
  • Massage the scalp for two or three minute’s everyday with warm oil and yogurt. Avoid doing an oil massage at the salon.
