Your major defense in dealing with gall bladder disease is a low-fat diet. This is easier said than done but the gall bladder stores the bile juice which is responsible for breakdown of fats. So if working of the gall bladder is impaired, fat breakdown and absorption also get delayed.

The best solution to your problem is to reduce dietary fats to a minimum.

Diet for Gall Bladder Problems

  • Increase the fresh salads in your diet and skip the fatty dressings.
  • Eat smaller amounts of food throughout the day.

Try to avoid any meals at bed time. Start a slow and weight loss program to return to optimum health.
  • You can also increase the intake of natural herbs and spices which promotes bile juice formation like turmeric and ginger. Add a dash of both to your daily diet.
  • Avoid red meats and fried fatty foods. Increase your intake of fresh leafy veggies and fruits. In possible add a fiber supplement or vitamin E or fish oil capsules to you daily diet. These supplements can block extra formation of cholesterol by the body.

You can also consult with a good dietician and nutritionist to help you maintain a good low-fat lifestyle.
