There can be many reasons for nasal sores like,
- Nasal impetigo which is a bacterial infection of the nasal lining by staphylococcal bacteria. If the sores are yellow and crusted with itchy sensations then its time to get them treated with the essential remedies.
- Nasal folliculitis is another condition in which the hair follicle soft in nose gets infected causing sores but without the crusting and bleeding.
- Cold sores or a recurrent herpes simplex infection can also be causing the nasal sores.
- Are you working in an allergenic profession like a painter? Inhaling paint fumes can also aggravate the delicate nasal lining causing blistering.
A few home remedies to control the problem are,
- Use a nasal saline spray to soothe your nose three to four times a day.
- Increase your intake of Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids to strengthen your immune system against frequent infections.
I would recommend a visit to the ENT to sort out the problem at the earliest. An Ear, Nose and Throat specialist can prescribe a good remedy to the problem in a few minutes.
