Dry hair is a result of lack of sufficient amount of natural oil and moisturizer. Try the following home remedies to get the shine back in your hair and improve the quality of your hair -
Beat 2 egg yolks to make a foamy paste. Massage this paste on your scalp and hair.
Rinse it with warm water after 30 minutes. To get rid of the egg smell you can make the last rinse using a mild shampoo that suits your hair type.
Trim off the split ends every 3-4 months and massage your hair with hot oil for 10-15 minutes, then wrap a hot towel on it and leave it for 30 minutes.
Make a paste by mashing an over-ripe banana with a ripe avocado. Apply this paste on your hair leave for 15-20 minutes and wash it later with warm water.
Deep condition your hair once in a week; apply the conditioner only on the ends and never on the scalp. Use shampoo that is particularly formulated for dry or damaged hair.
Rinse your hair with beer after shampooing. Beer will make your hair shine.
To protect your hair from scorching sun wear a hat or carry an umbrella when you step out in sun.
Avoid the use of styling methods (blow drier, heat iron), and styling products with harsh chemicals as it can further damage your hair.
