Try these remedies to lighten your lip color –

Make a paste by mixing glycerin and lime juice in honey. Apply this on your lips before going to bed and leave it overnight.
Massage almond oil gently over the lips (a thin layer) at night before going to bed.
Before stepping out in sun wear a lip balm with sun protecting factor (more than 15) to protect them from sun and prevent tanning.
For soft pink lips apply a paste of milk cream and rose petals.
To help draw natural moisture from your lip skins apply honey on your lips.
Quit smoking completely (if you smoke), as smoking can cause the lips to darken.
Avoid biting your lips as this can cause uneven surfaces or patches on lips. Also don’t suck them.
Drink lots of water and include fresh fruits and vegetables in your daily diet.
