Yes apple cider vinegar would help to relieve your acid reflux. Try these home remedies – Add 2 teaspoon of apple cider vinegar in a cup of warm water and drink it after your meal. This is a good remedy for acid reflux.
You can also combine baking soda along with apple cider vinegar (in equal proportions) in water and drink this concoction for reflux relief. Besides these remedies keep the following points in mind when you have an acid reflux - - Never play with your diet, foods which causes the reflux should be avoided. Common foods that can cause reflux include acid based foods, junk foods, spicy foods, fried/oily foods, and caffeine.
- Avoid stress, alcohol and smoking as far as possible.
- Lose weight if you are overweight. Maintain an ideal body weight.
- Avoid lying down or sleeping after meals, especially at night. Keep at least 3 hours time gap between your meals and sleeping time.
- Chew a piece of apple when you feel the burning sensation. A spoon of cold yoghurt would also help when you feel the burning or reflux.
