Chicken pox scar cures
Skin blemishes take a while to go away and till at such a time it is a source of great discomfort and embarrassment. To hasten the disappearance of the scars, oils from cod liver, evening primrose or vitamin e are highly effective in getting rid of the marks. These oils must be massaged daily into the skin.
Use one of the oils at a given time, although a combination may also be helpful in the long run. A teaspoon of any of the above mentioned essential oils must be gently massaged into the scars before retiring for bed each night. Of all the oils mentioned, Vitamin E oil has the greatest benefits to treat scarred skin and help in restoring the suppleness to the skin texture.
Another overnight preparation can be made with a combination of sandalwood powder and rose water. A thick paste made from the above ingredients is an old folk remedy and is useful in banishing skin scars and blemishes. This paste when applied daily to the spots for a period of four weeks greatly enhances the complexion and reduces the blemishes. In addition a fine powder of black gram powder can also be added to the mixture as another pack to reduce the scars.
