Make a homemade pack to surely get rid of dark patches and pigmentation. Take a teaspoon of milk powder, one teaspoon of honey, one teaspoon of lemon juice and half a teaspoon of almond oil. Mix the ingredients very well and apply this thick paste on the face.


Let it stay for around half an hour and wash it with cool water. Also blend dry orange peels with unsalted yoghurt in a blender. This face pack from orange peels is an excellent solution on blemishes and especially on dark skin areas.




There is also an effective skin tonic to be made using ingredients from your kitchen shelf. Take three teaspoons of borax powder, two tablespoons of glycerin and two cups of rose water. Mix this well enough to make a good paste. This tonic preparation can be used for limbs and arms as well. For a refreshing nightlong therapy, take equal parts of fresh unsalted butter and lanolin. Stir this continuously and continue to beat it thoroughly in a thick saucepan that is placed over a vessel containing boiling water. The paste when resembles a thick lotion should be used to cream the neck, arms and shoulders in upward motions. Let this cream stay on till morning and wash it off with cool water.
