Home cures for dandruff
- Rub a slice of lemon in your hair half an hour before going for a bath. You can also rinse your hair with its juice after washing your hair with shampoo.
- Mix 2 tablespoons of green gram powder in ½ a cup of curd and apply it all over your hair.
Leave it for half an hour and then wash your hair. - Add 1 tablespoon of curd, ¼ cup of boiled tea and 1 teaspoon of lemon juice to 3 spoonfuls of henna powder. Mix it thoroughly and apply it to your hair. Wash it with cold water after 1 hour. To avoid your hair turning red, massage your hair with mustard or coconut oil.
- Boil the tops and roots of beet, preferably white, in water and strain the liquid. Apply this to your hair at night and wash it in the morning.
- Regularly massage your hair with olive, almond, mustard or coconut oil.
- Comb your hair vigorously with a thick tooth comb to improve blood circulation and clean the scalp.
- Shampoo your hair every alternate day. Avoid going out after putting oil in your hair as the dust particles stick to the hair roots and scalp and cause dandruff.
