Natural Treatment for Dandruff
There are various natural treatments and home remedies that are useful in curing dandruff. Here are some of the most common treatments and cures that are effectively used for curing dandruff.
Olive oil is the best remedy for dandruff.
Gently massage with olive oil before going to bed. You can even try a massage with a combination of olive oil and lime juice. Tie a cloth round your head and wash off your hair next morning with a good shampoo following with a conditioner.
Listerine is another good remedy for dandruff. Soak your hair in Listerine and leave for about 10 to 15 minutes. Wash off with a mild shampoo and a good conditioner. Saturate saturate your hair with listerine.
Aloe Vera is believed to be the queen of all herbs when it comes to skin or hair. Take few pieces of aloe vera and cut them length wise. Scrape out or grind the pieces in a mixer to extract gel from the cut pieces. Apply the gel on your hair and leave it for about half an hour. Aloe vera gel can cause itching in your scalp but that the characteristic of the herb. Bear the itching if you want to have healthy and beautiful hair. Wash off your hair well with an herbal shampoo.
Vinegar is also useful for treating dandruff. Saturate your hair and scalp with a good amount of vinegar and wrap your hair with a clean towel. Wash your hair next morning.
Curd is a traditional cure for dandruff. Rub curd on your hair and scalp. Leave it uncovered and wash after half an hour.
