Natural Cure for Foot Odor

Foot odor is a bad and unbearable smell that is generated mainly when the feet are kept closed for a long time. The principle factor causing foot odor is long hours of wearing shoes. This is because shoes provide warm, moist conditions that often become a host for various bacteria and fungus. Feet have maximum sweat glands and therefore more sweat is released when your feet are closed and this eventually results in a bad smell due to production of isovaleric acid released by accumulated bacteria.

There are many natural cures that can help get rid of smelly feet. Here are some of the most useful ways to cure foot odor naturally:
  • First learn various techniques to manage stress because stress can aggravate the condition by increasing the production of isovaleric acid.
  • Sprinkle baking soda into your shoes before wearing. Baking soda will inhibit the growth of bacteria into the shoes.
  • Place few tea bags in a tub of water and soak your feet. This will help to kill all the bacteria stuck to your feet.
  • You can even try using apple cider vinegar. Add few drops of apple cider vinegar in a tub of water and soak your feet in that water.
  • Wash your feet well with antibacterial soap before wearing shoes and even after removing your shoes.
