Natural Remedies for Arthritis Pain
Here are some natural treatments for arthritis pain:
- Extract fresh juice from raw potatoes and drink it every morning.
- Prepare a vegetable juice by mixing 1 cup of any green vegetable juice with equal amount of celery, carrot and red beet juices.
- Fresh pineapple juice also helps in reducing swelling and inflammation in arthritis.
- Eat one tsp of black sesame seeds soaked overnight.
- Massage the affected area with olive oil or almond oil.
- Olive oil can also be mixed with lavender, garlic, sage, thyme, rosemary or sassafras oil and used for relieving joint pain.
- Relieving constipation is the best way to treat arthritis. So, you can try taking a warm enema to relieve constipation.
- Taking a steam bath can also be beneficial.
- Try rubbing the joints with hot vinegar. This will help in reducing swelling and pain.
- Dandelion leaf is also a good remedy for arthritis. Leaf of this herb has diuretic properties and the root has anti-inflammatory properties that help to increase output from kidney and enhance bowel movement respectively.
- Peel few pieces of ginger and powder it along with Sprague. Dip this powdered mixture in mustard oil. Heat the mixture and then massage your joints with the heated mixture.
