Athlete's foot is a consequence of a fungal infection. This fungus is present in warm and moist conditions. - Tea tree oil with its anti-fungal properties is the most powerful home remedy for Athletes Foot. Rub this oil between the toe fingers.
- Make a paste of baking soda or sprinkle the powder between your toe fingers. Leave the paste or sprinkled powder for about 15 minutes and then wash it.
- Try soaking your feet in Listerine or any other antiseptic mouthwash.
- You can also sprinkle cornstarch between your toe fingers for relieving pain.
- Keep your feet in soaked in saline water. This will create an unhealthy environment for fungus growth.
- Avoid wearing plastic shoes and footwear because plastic trap perspiration and create a warm and moist place for fungus to grow.
- Wear only cotton socks that are cleaned and rinsed well.
