Natural Cure for Peptic Ulcer
There are many ways to treat peptic ulcers naturally. Here are some of the best natural home cures for peptic ulcers:
- Fenugreek leaves are the best cure for peptic ulcers. Boil these leaves in water and add salt to it. Drink the mixture at least twice a day.
- Banana is a time tested remedy or cure for ulcers. It helps in neutralizing the harmful effects of gastric juices. Eat two to three bananas every day with milk.
- A glass of lime juice consumed daily can also help in curing peptic ulcers. This is because there are mineral salts present in lemon and these salts help in digestion.
- Cabbage is another great remedy for peptic ulcers. Boil cabbage leaves in half the quantity of water. Allow the mixture to cool and drink the extracted juice at least twice a day for better results.
- Other herbs essential for treating peptic ulcers include bansalochan, almond milk, vegetable juice and sandalwood.
- Consume more of milk, butter, fruits, vegetables, natural foods and cream. This will help to deactivate the acidic effects of gastric juices and aid in preventing ulcers.
- Restrict intake of foods that form gas or result in the production of acid.
- Daily massage can also be beneficial for peptic ulcers.
- Involve yourself in breathing exercises as these exercises will help you relax and stay cheerful.
- Some of the yoga postures such as vajrasana, pawanmuktasana, bhujanga asana and paschimothana asana are best yoga postures for naturally treating peptic ulcers.
