Symptoms of Gall Bladder

Gall bladder disorder can be a cause of gallstones, chronic or severe or growth of tumor. Biliary dyskinesia or abnormal gall bladder functions also obstructs the normal functioning of the gall bladder and contributes to gall bladder diseases.

Symptoms of gallstones are often termed as attacks.

This is because they don’t form gradually but occur suddenly. The typical symptom of gallbladder stones is steady and severe pain in the upper abdomen. This pain tends to increase rapidly and last for about several hours.

This defect in the gallbladder also results in back pain, right shoulder pain, nausea and vomiting.

Gallstone attacks usually follow fatty meals and occur during the night because the organ is more active during that period. People suffering from gallstones also show signs of abdominal bloating, colic, belching, gas or acidity, indigestion and recurring intolerance of fatty foods.

Other symptoms associated with gall bladder diseases include jaundice, discoloration of urine and itching or prunritis. Please notify and consult your doctor in case you experience prolonged pain, fever, chills, white eyes, yellow skin or clay colored stools. These symptoms are consequences of severe gallbladder diseases or infections. If these are not curbed, it may lead to rupture of gall bladder and various other fatal diseases.
