Sty treatment

how do you cure sty's?
(28 Jan 2008)

Natural treatment for sty

Dip a soft cotton cloth in warm water and press it against the sty. Keep it there for 3 to 4 minutes and repeat it for 4 to 5 times more. Do this for as often as 5 to 6 times a day till the sty ruptures and drains.

Place a warm tea bag against it and you will find that the sty has reduced to half its size. This is because of the tannic acid in tea.

Wash your hands before touching your eye. Do not squeeze or rub the sty.
Take cayenne and zinc regularly.

Apply cayenne extract or strawberry leaf tea with a cotton ball to the sty twice a day.

Apply castor oil to the sty 2 to 3 times a day.

Drink tea made from the herb dandelion to fight the bacteria that cause sties.

Pour 1 cup of boiling water on a handful of fresh parsley and leave it to steep for 10 minutes. Soak a cloth in the liquid and place it over the sty and let it remain there for 15 minutes. Repeat this procedure before going to bed at night.

In 2 cups of water boil a handful of acacia leaves and use it as a compress.
