Natural Cure for Ankle Sprain
Ankle sprain occurs mainly when one or both the ligaments connecting the bones in the ankle joint get stretched or wrenched and eventually tear off.
You can use the following natural cures for treating severe ankle pain:
- Boswellia is a natural herb that is beneficial for reducing inflammation.
- Herbs like fenugreek and flaxseed can be used in combination with slippery elm bark to prepare poultice for reducing swelling.
- Ginger with its antioxidant properties is used for reducing inflammation.
- Goldenseal poultice is good for relieving pain and reducing swelling.
- Prepare a paste of turmeric powder with warm water and place it on the affected area.
- Mustard poultice also works wonder for educing swelling and relaxing tensed muscles.
