  • Make a paste using equal amounts of baking soda and water. Apply this on the affected areas for relief.
  • Crush two aspirins to make a fine powder. Mix this powder with acetone, which is commonly used as a nail polish remover to make a smooth paste. Apply this paste on the affected areas for instant relief.
  • To get relief form the pain and itching keep the skin dry and clean as far as possible. This can be done by applying calamine lotion to the affected areas.
  • When the blisters are infected, hydrogen peroxide would also do a fine job to heal them.
  • Aloe vera gel or raw honey also work wonders to heal the blisters. Never scratch or burst the blisters.
  • Arginine rich foods should be avoided; these include chocolates, nuts, seeds and cereal grains.
