Ringworm is a fungal infection that can invade our skin, hair and even nails. Try the following home remedies to get rid of ringworm.

  • Cut a slice from a fresh raw papaya and rub it on the affected area twice daily.


    It is very beneficial in curing ringworm.
  • Extract juice by grinding holy basil in water. Apply this juice on the affected area.


    This is a very effective remedy to get rid of ringworms.
  • Grind mustard seeds to make a fine powder. Add water to this powder and make a paste. Apply this paste on the affected areas to treat ringworms.
  • Take a bath 2-3 times in a day, this will not wash away the ringworm but it will help to give relief form the itch and will avoid its spreading further.
  • Olive oil works best for ringworms on the scalp. Massage daily at night and wash in the morning.  Continue this at least for a weak.
  • Wear washed, clean loose fitted cotton/linen clothes. Ringworm infection is a highly contagious infection it can spread on other parts of the body if appropriate care is not taken.
