Home Cure for Toothache
There are many natural remedies for toothache. Here are some of the most effective remedies that will help to relieve pain:
Clove Oil
- Clove oil, containing eugenol, is an essential oil extracted from cloves. The component eugenol is believed to be a natural pain killer and an anti-bacterial.
Soak a cotton bud in clove oil and dab it on the affected tooth. - You can even add few drops of olive oil to the mixture for better relief. This gives you rapid pain relief.
- Adding vinegar to clove oil is also beneficial. Dab the mixture using a cotton ball on the affected tooth to ease pain.
- Activated Charcoal
- Activated charcoal is an over the counter drug available with all chemists and natural food stores. A mixture of this charcoal along with water can be applied on the affected tooth using gauze for pain relief.
Garlic Garlic has healing powers and is a natural medicine for various health ailments. Placing a piece of garlic clove on the affected tooth will help in providing immediate relief from pain.
Onion Onion is another great remedy for toothache. You can either extract juice from onion or eat raw onion. Both are beneficial in killing the destructive bacteria and germs present in the mouth.
