Home remedies for chicken pox
- Add half a cup of brown vinegar to a bath tub filled with warm water and soak in it once daily.
- Cook 2 cups of oatmeal in 2 liters of water for 15 minutes. Fill a cotton bag with this mixture and tie the top securely.
Now, put it in the bath tub filled with water and let it float for sometime till the water becomes cloudy. Take a bath in this water with the bag drifting in it but take care that the bag does not get torn. - Put some Margosa (margosa) leaves in a bath tub and soak in it regularly. You can also fan the skin with the leaves but they should touch the skin while you are doing so.
- Spread honey on the skin to reduce itching.
- Gently rub some vitamin E oil or sandalwood oil on the skin to help the healing process and fade the scars quickly.
- Add some baking soda in 1 glass of water and soak a soft cotton sloth in it. Now, apply it on the skin 2 or 3 times daily. Baking soda will dry on the skin and prevent itching.
- Make a soup from 60 gms of fresh coriander and 100 gms of carrots and drink it once everyday.
