Bloating causes

Gastritis is not a serious condition and if you have this there is no cause to worry. Some people suffer from chronic gastritis and experience the symptoms on a regular basis. Gastritis can be caused by a variety of reasons.

Some of the most common reasons are intake of large amounts of alcohol, or an infection of the stomach. The infection is caused by a bacteria called Helicobacter pylori. Smoking is another reason for the development of gastritis. If you are on regular medication then you could suffer from gastritis. Anti-inflammatory drugs, in particularly, cause gastritis. In some cases stress is a reason for an attack of Gastritis.

You will know that you have gastritis if you notice that you have a pain in your abdomen. This is usually accompanied by a loss of appetite and a feeling of nausea. Some people also notice a change in their stools.  In extreme cases patients also vomit frequently, even brining up blood in their vomit.  People who suffer form gastritis often notice that their body retains fluids and swells up in certain places. These are possible symptoms of gastritis.
If you experience any symptoms other than those that are usually linked to gastritis, then you should visit your doctor at the earliest since these could very well indicate some other illness.
