Symptoms of eye numbness

Your question is extremely vague- it is unlikely that this is the only symptom you are experiencing, and based on such minimal information it is not possible either to diagnose the problem or recommend a course of action. Numbness of the eyes, or in fact, of any part of the body, can have a variety of causes. One obvious possible cause here is an eye injury. If you have hurt your eye any time in the recent or even not so recent past, this may be the reason for the numbness. Eye injuries are not always immediately apparent.

If you suffer from diabetes, this may be the cause of your eye numbness. Diabetes sometimes involves nerve damage, due to which patience experience numbness. This most commonly affects the feet and hands, but it can affect other parts of the body as well. In some cases, an infection such as conjunctivitis too may be accompanied by symptoms such as tingling and numbness. This of course will have other obvious symptoms as well, such as redness, itching, watering, and discharge. The best course of action would be to visit your doctor so that he or she can examine you thoroughly and investigate any other symptoms.
