How to get rid of low blood pressure?

Low blood pressure alternative remedies

Low blood pressure is often caused by medication, dehydration, heart problems such as arrhythmias, and damage to the brain or spinal cord. The most obvious and common cause is probably blood loss, but this of course is unlikely to be the case here.

Dehydration and starvation however are commonly the cause of temporarily low blood pressure.

You should therefore make sure that you drink enough water each day, and avoid skipping meals or delaying a meal for too long. Eat your meals in time, and if you are dieting, eat smaller meals and watch what you eat rather than entirely skipping a meal, particularly breakfast.
You should also make sure that you have enough salt in your diet. However, don't go overboard with the salt, as this will cause other problems. Fruits such as beetroot and pomegranate are also supposed to help maintain normal levels of blood pressure. Avoid excessive amounts of alcohol and caffeine, and try to get some daily exercise.

If you suffer from only mildly low blood pressure, these measures should fix the problem quite effectively. If your blood pressure is extremely low however, you may require further medical investigation and treatment to identify the underlying cause and treat it.
