Swollen foot natural remedies Although our toenails are far thicker than the nails on our finger, they often crack or come away from the skin. This happens for a variety of really simple reasons. One of the most important reasons is that you have not been taking proper care of you feet.
If your shoes are tight and narrow then this adversely affects your nail and they are more likely to crack or break away from the skin. Wearing tight shoes means that there is no room for circulation. As a result of the sweaty condition inside the shoe, it becomes a perfect place for fungus to grow. And that is why you may notice that your nails are yellow or that they have some kind of growth under them.
You should keep your feet clean and cut your nails short. Select your footwear with care and ensure that you wear open shoes or sandals during the summer months. Avoid wearing socks in the hot months. Keep your feet clean and dry. You don't need to worry about the nail since it will soon repair itself. You can use a bandage to keep the nail in place. However, if you do so, you should take care to ensure that the bandage is changed regularly.
