Dry skin home alternative cure 

Dry skin is the result of the weather which extracts the moisture from your body. During the summer months we notice that our skin turns dry. In winter the constant use of heaters results in the loss of moisture in the skin.


If you find yourself scratching the dry skin and notice any blood or the formation of scabs, then you should consult a doctor.

Always remember to bathe in lukewarm, not hot water. Very hot water further dries out your skin.


Remember to pat yourself dry after your bath but let your body remain a little damp. Always apply your moisturizing cream on the damp skin.  You should use some hot body oil to massage into your skin. You should do this before you bathe. Increasing your daily intake of water and other fluids will also help. Using ground oatmeal powder in your bath water will help your skin feel better.
Wear long sleeved clothes in order to reduce your exposure to the elements. The clothes you wear should be loose and should not chafe against any part of your body. You should also ensure that you wear only cottons and avoid wearing clothes in synthetic fibers.

You should also make changes in your daily intake of food. Instead of eating processed food, you should eat  balanced meals which include fiber, carbohydrates.
