Headache remedies and peanuts Contrary to what is being said here, it is well established that peanuts can cause, or at least contribute to headaches of any and all kinds. They are rich in fat and salt, both of which are hardly considered to be good for general health and well being. There are, however, other extremely simple and more effective ways of curing headaches.
Please do remember that if a headache persists for over a week, it is always better to get medical advice about it.
The favorite and simplest solution for a headache is restful sleep in a calm and quiet environment. You can use aromatherapy to relieve headaches. The essential oils of lavender, sandalwood and eucalyptus are especially effective in working towards calming a pounding head. Make it a point to drink lots of water and avoid fried and spicy food. Try to stick to fat free, oil free and high fiber food as much as you can. This will clear up your system, thereby improving your headache, which could be caused due to indigestion. Exercise helps to release “happy hormones” known as endorphins that aid in reducing any kind of ache or pain. It will also improve the general condition of your health, circulation, skin and aid in losing weight. Try to indulge in at least 20 minutes of exercise on a daily basis.
