Vitiligo also called leucoderma causes white patches on the skin. This is because there is a gradual loss of the skin pigment – melanin from the skin. It has no other organic harm to the body besides those white ugly patches on the skin.
The exact cause however for vitiligo is not known. Try the following tips to deal with vitiligo.
- Powder radish seeds and take about 35 gm and mix in 2 tsp of vinegar.
Apply this paste on the white patches. This is a very effective remedy for vitiligo.
- To avoid its further spread avoid junk foods, coffee, tea, fast foods, citrus fruits, non-vegetarian foods, eggs, alcohol and beer.
- Avoid any kind of emotional stress as it is one of the causative factors which can be responsible for the onset of vitiligo.
- Other options like tattooing or skin grafting are available, but they are both expensive and painful. Cosmetics can be used to hide the most obvious patches on the body.
