High cholesterol alternative cures An attempt to start lowering cholesterol begins with the first step – losing weight. The healthiest way to lose weigh if you have been diagnosed with high cholesterol is to exercise for at least 30 minutes a day. If you are unable to do any kind of strenuous exercise, a brisk walk will work just as well.
The next step to cut cholesterol is to eliminate oily, fried and fatty foods from your diet. This will stop adding to your cholesterol count instantly. Prolonged abstinence from such food will also gradually bring your cholesterol levels down.
You must also avoid red meat, which is considered to be high in cholesterol. White meat, if taken grilled, boiled or in soup form can work positively. Avoid eating egg yolks. If eggs are a part of your daily diet, switch to including them every alternate day, and have only egg whites. Concentrate on leafy green vegetables to make your heart a healthier one. Switch to skim milk instead of whole. While cooking, switch to olive oil. This is cholesterol free and will help you tremendously. Including beans of any kind in your daily diet will also help to reduce cholesterol. If you can, sprout beans and have them in that form. This is a much healthier way to eat them overall.
