A reduced intake of salt is another suggestion that will help you reduce your high blood pressure.  Although the thought may sound preposterous, you will find that once you begin reducing the amount of salt you use, you will get used to it and not find anything strange about food that is salted moderately. Moderation in your intake of alcohol and tobacco will also help you. A potassium rich diet will also help you. Eating more fruits and vegetables and replacing meat with fish will prove beneficial too.
