Helicobacter Pylori natural remedies

Helicobacter pylori or H. pylori is a bacteria that infects various parts of the digestive system. It also causes ulcers, gastritis, and cancers. H. pylori is a contagious infection and is generally caused due to consumption of contaminated water and food, and continual stress. Maintaining a hygienic environment helps in reducing the risk of H. pylori. These bacteria can also lead to arthritis, anemia, and Vitamin B12 deficiency.
The following are some of the home remedies and precautions to treat Helicobacter pylori:

  • Use garlic and onions daily.
  • Increase your intake of cinnamon, hot chilly pepper, and foods containing Vitamin C.
  • Avoid supplements that have excessive amounts of calcium and magnesium. These lower the stomach acid levels.
  • Cut down on coffee consumption, as it also aggravates the problem of Helicobacter pylori.
  • Drink pineapple juice with food or sip it throughout the day. This helps in improving general digestion also.
  • Drink 10 to 15 glasses of water everyday.

If the symptoms of H. Pylori last for more than two weeks, or if you have other symptoms like weight loss, nausea after you eat, or consistent stomach pain, consult your doctor to rule out development of ulcers and other serious ailments.
