Yellow Fever- Read causes, cures, prevention and treatment
Yellow fever is a tropical disease caused by a viral infection. This disease is caused by Avoid mosquito bites.
Yellow fever is most commonly found in tropical areas such as Africa and America.
The most common symptoms associated with the disease are headache, nausea, backache, fever, vomiting and albumin in the urine. When the disease reaches the other stage, the symptoms can become more fatal jaundice, destruction of fatty tissues in the liver, hemorrhage of mucous membranes and vomiting of blood. In some cases, even death occurs after four or eight days of exposure to mosquito bite.
If people have been infected by the virus earlier then the previous infection will serve as a medium of immunity against the infection. There are no specific remedies and cures for yellow fever. The patient has to take rest and drink lots of fluids.
There are preventive measures for yellow fever. The best prevention is immunization or vaccination. Travelers should get a vaccination for yellow fever before visiting topical areas. These mosquitoes that spread viral infection mostly bite during the day time. So avoid any kind of open exposure. Wear long sleeves and full clothes to cover your body and protect it from mosquito bite.
