A moderate exercise regime is the key to losing weight over a steady period of time. And the most important thing to remember when exercising is to move as much as you can. It does not matter how hard or fast you exercise, the more your body stretches during exercise the better chances are for fat loss.


And while at it there are three important points to retain for the rest of the routine.  It is futile to overdo any sort of exercise. Body fatigue and strain would be high in such cases and can lead to injury.


At the same time, exercise should not be done just as a fad, it should be continued for the rest of your life to reap maximum benefits in every part of your body.

Having said that, controlled exercise executed daily enhances physical fitness. Simple exercises involving the use of brisk walking, swimming and bicycling is known to improve the function of the heart muscles and strengthen overall bodily muscles. The practice of callisthenic exercises is also a great help in building strength. Riding a bicycle is a superb exercise for the entire body especially the lower half as it tones the thigh and stomach muscles. It also places least amount of tension on the legs and knees as compared to jogging. Cycling is beneficial for people on the heavier side as it the weight of the body is weight is backed up by the seat and not by the legs.
