Garlic supplements are also helpful, but make sure that you use organic garlic in the form of supplements without the use of additives. Have a handful of walnuts every day. Consuming walnuts is known to reduce the level of LDL by almost 16 percent. A daily consumption of these nuts can greatly cut down the risk of heart disease as compared to those who do not have walnuts.
