Let's look into some home methods that can help in quick and easy riddance of this menace. Although there are plenty of option available in the market an effective that can be made right within your home is the best so far.

Exfoliate your skin before you step in to shave off the ingrown hair.

This will help to slower the growth of ingrown hair. You can make an exfoliation pack at home instead of using ones available in the market. Take a measured teaspoon of baking soda and blend it well with a tablespoon of soft soap or liquid soap. Mix this preparation well and spread to the part of your body where you would like to get rid of the ingrown hair. Rinse off the skin with water before you start to shave. After the shave apply witch hazel to the area. The properties in witch hazel will help to prevent further growth of the hair the next time.
