Swollen Glands Natural Treatment
A number of herbs are very well absorbed by the body in reducing swollen glands or any kinds of swelling due to infection or wounds. One of them being a poultice made from a preparation of sage and vinegar. These ingredients are legendary in their treatment against sprains and swellings.
Vinegar is known to cool and soothe swellings while sage treats the underlying problem.
Take a handful of fresh sage leaves and cause dents in them, do not tear or break them but puncture them or bruise the leaves without snipping them off. Place the leaves in a pan till they are completely covered with vinegar.
You can use apple cider vinegar, well known for its many beneficial properties. Do not allow the preparation to boil but let there be just enough heat to see that the leaves have softened and blanched. Remove the leaves from the heat with a pair of tongs and place them on a clean cloth. Prepare the cloth in such a manner that the leaves are covered in the cloth and tie this or place it on the area that needs attention. Let the cloth stay on he body for an hour till you notice the swelling reduce.
