Seborrheic Dermatitis – Read natural remedies and cures
Seborrheic Dermatitis is skin disorder characterized by severe dandruff. The best way to treat the condition is using anti fungal shampoos mainly consisting zinc pyrithione, or ketoconazole. Some of the other friendly ingredients that can be looked for in the shampoo are salicylic acid, coal tar and sulfur.
Apart from the above mentioned remedy, here are some of the other useful treatments for curing Seborrheic Dermatitis.
- Good hygiene is very essential in getting rid of the white itchy flakes.
- Regular washing and exposure to sunlight will deactivate the effects of oils and prevent yeast multiplication.
- Rubbing a cut onion on the scalp is also fruitful for treating the condition.
- Take old cheese and massage your scalp with it.
- Vinegar is another effective cure for relieving the symptoms of this skin disorder.
- You also need to limit your consumption of yeast and sugar or else the condition will get worse.
- You also need to restrict your intake of foods such as beer, bread and wine. These foods contain yeast and stimulate the growth of fungi that are responsible for causing dandruff.
- Foods such as grains, egg yolks, bananas, soybeans, green leafy vegetables, nuts, seeds and avocados are rich in Vitamin B and the best food sources to combat the yeast infection.
