There are many ways you can get rid of hemorrhoids. Here are some of the most effective cures for reducing the swelling.
- You can cause hemorrhoids due to some food allergy, genetic reasons or due to obesity.
Try to source out the cause and then fight the cause to reduce swelling. - Drink lots of more water as water intake will help in softening stools and improving digestion. This will further improve the bowel movements and reduce inflammation.
- Eating less dairy products is also beneficial for relieving swelling of the hemorrhoids. Dairy products block the anal passage. In both the cases, you may have to suffer from unbearable pain.
- While sitting on the toilet sat to clear your bowel, sit straight and take a deep breathe.
- When trying to push the bowel movement down, hold your breath. This is beneficial because you are not using your anal muscles to clear the bowels. If you use your anal muscle to pressurize the movement then it will cause more irritation and pain.

Natural Treatment to reduce Hemmorrhoids
Hemorrhoids can be due to various reasons like age, constipation, family history, low-fiber diet, obesity, pregnancy, laxatives, anal sex, and prolonged sitting or standing. Hemorrhoids are basically swollen and stretched-out veins in the anal and rectum region. Try these remedies to relieve the pain and swelling of the hemorrhoids: - Eat foods which are rich in soluble fiber which includes fresh fruits and vegetables, whole cereals, pulses, and oats. They will facilitate bowel movements and make the stool bulky and soft so that extra pressure is not put on the anal region. Avoid too spicy, oily or fried foods or simply foods that cause constipation or difficulty in passing the bowel.
- Soak 3-4 figs overnight in a cup of water and eat them in the morning on an empty stomach. The soluble fiber from figs will help to improve bowel movements and put less pressure in the anal region.
- Mash and boil a ripe banana in a cup of milk and drink this daily at least 2-3 times. This is a very effective remedy to heal hemorrhoids.
- Extract juice from fresh radish and drink daily in the morning and evening for quick recovery of hemorrhoids.
- Lightly massage warm almond oil over the hemorrhoids for relief and to decrease the swelling.
- Apply baking powder over the hemorrhoids if itching is present along with the swelling.
- Avoid too long standing or sitting hours, any kind of physical or mental stress would worsen the condition.
