Alternative Remedies to Heal Rash
Anyone with a dermatological disaster like eczema, food allergies, hives, chafing, poison ivy or razor burns can get rash. It can cause itchiness, redness and pain in that area which you need to get rid of instantly. It would be prudent to evaluate or investigate the cause of the rash to make the treatment easy.
Try the following home remedies for rash: - Crush a vitamin C tablet in water, mix well and apply it on the rash immediately. The antioxidant properties in vitamin C will help to deal with rashes.
- Avoid using soaps, cosmetics, perfumes or deodorants which cause any allergic reaction or rash on the body.
- Apply fresh avocado paste on the rash; this is also a good home remedy for rash.
- If it is a heat rash cool your skin with ice pack. Put some ice in a towel or plastic bag and apply it on the rash for instant relief.
- After a shower dust some baking soda or corn starch or unscented talcum powder on the rash for relief. Avoid scratching the rash as it can make the skin red and can further irritate it.
- Avoid taking any kind of stress or getting anxious as stress and anxiety can many a times cause or aggravate the existing rash.
