Natural Treatment for Sore Hand

Temporary numbness is not of concern, though periodical numbness requires medical attention. Loss of sensation or numbness is typical of carpal tunnel syndrome. Avoid the usage of hot packs, as they dilate the tissues, resulting in inflammation.

A cold compress with ice on the upper arm is an effective method of treatment.

Pain killers, which are available over-the-counter are effective. A splint on the affected region is helpful, as unnecessary movements are avoided.

Earliest signs include tingling and burning sensation. Check out for the symptoms and resolve for treatment immediately. Give a break to the affected arm or thumb. Alternatively use the other hand also. Tools which utilise less force are preferred. Avoid excessively vibrating instruments. Apply the right kind of force or pressure to any kind of work done.

Tingling sensation in the thumb, index finger and middle finger are common. Improper positioning of the fingers with inappropriate application of pressure results in carpal tunnel syndrome. Hypothyroidism, pregnancy, diabetes and obesity are the other causes. Acupuncture is an effective mode of treatment. Supplements of pyridoxine are also helpful. Acupressure is also equally effective. Visit your physician, prior to opting for any of these methods of treatment.
