Pin worms advice and home cures

If you your child with an itchy bottom you can be sure that he is suffering from pin worm. Pin worms are round worms that live in the intestine of humans. These worms lay tiny eggs in the anus.

When the person with pin worms gives in to the temptation to scratch himself, he gets the eggs on his hands, usually under his nails. From there it is very easy to spread the infection to belongings and from there to other children in the house and then to their friends.

Hygiene is the most important thing if your child has pin worms.

Watch your child like a hawk and ensure that he washes his hands with soap after each visit to the bathroom.  If your child finds himself constantly scratching away, you can help ease the urge by getting him to take a warm water bath. The warm water generally soothes the anus and helps the child keep his hands away.

Include at least two cloves of garlic in the child's food every day. You can also make a powder of pumpkin seeds and store this. Mix one tablespoon of this powder with half a spoon of honey and some water. Give this to your child in two hourly intervals through out the day.
