Natural Cure for Water in Ear Canal
Although the ear canal is well protected from an invasion of water, sometimes we do manage to get some water in our ears. People who swim regularly, for example, usually manage to get some water in their ears. Sometimes, while showering the force of the water results in some being trapped in the ear canal.
This can make you feel disorientated since the water can muffle sounds. It is not safe or advisable to allow the water to remain trapped in your ear. The damp dark place inside your ear is the perfect place for the development of infections of any kind. You should consult a doctor if you notice that your hearing is affected or that your ear is oozing blood or even pus.
The most effective home remedy involves using white vinegar and water. Take equal parts of white vinegar and water. Mix the two together and then drop in two to three drops of this in your ear. Gently rub your ear. You can repeat this two or three times till the water drains out of your ear. However, if this does not help your ear and if you continue to feel as if there is some water in you ear, it is advisable to consult the doctor.
