Alternative Treatment for Psoriasis

Psoriasis is a fairly common complaint. You will be surprise to know that most people who do have psoriasis, have it on their scalps. This causes the scalp to develop fine scaling.

In case it is severe, you will notice that the scalp is covered with thick plaque. This usually causes loss of hair. Psoriasis of the scalp usually spreads to the forehead and then also moves on the back of the neck.

Some people notice that this condition slowly spread to other parts of their body too.

Apple cider vinegar is one of the best known remedies for this condition. Apply apple cider vinegar on your scalp and leave it on for an hour. Wash it off using a mild shampoo. Aloe Vera juice is also very effective in treating psoriasis. You can rub this into your scalp at night and leave it on through out the night. Garlic oil is another remedy that is effective in getting rid of psoriasis.

For the psoriasis on your face, you should ensure that you use a mild soap. Avoid using very harsh soaps. You can apply Aloe Vera to your face last thing in the night and leave it on. Wash it off in the morning.   Eating a healthy, well balanced diet that includes plenty of fruits, vegetables, fruit juices and lots of water will help too.
