Advice on leg cramps
What do you do for persistent leg cramps? I've tried, Ca+ Mg, quinine to no avail. I've had back and knee surgery and Dr wants to do an MRI to check my back. I'm going to see a massage Therapist to do fascia work.

Treatment for Leg Cramps
Leg cramps come suddenly and leave you feeling weak and unsure of yourself. If you have been suffering from cramps in your leg for some time now, it is a good idea to consult your doctor. You can help yourself by exercising regularly.
However, you should ask your doctor if this is permissible since you have had a surgery. With the doctor's permission you can begin on some serious exercises designed to help you strengthen your legs. You should also, in addition, sleep for the requisite number of hours each day.
This will ensure that your body is in good condition.
Massaging the leg can give instant relief. Using some warm oil will help too. Another remedy that you can try is pinching your upper lip. Use your thumb and index finger to do this. Hold your upper lip for about thirty seconds. This will reduce the pain. Your diet should include food that is healthy. Eat plenty of fresh vegetables. Continue eating food that is rich in calcium. Eat plenty of fruits and eggs, milk. However, visiting your doctor is a good idea since you have recently undergone a surgery and this pain could be linked to the operation.
