High blood pressure natural remedies 

The condition in which blood pressure is chronically high is known as hypertension, and in cases where the condition is mild, it is usually agreed that no medical treatment is necessary and the condition can be managed by lifestyle and dietary changes.

If you are overweight, it is important for you to lose weight — however, this will not and should not happen overnight. You should adopt a daily exercise regimen, probably beginning with something mild like a 20 minute walk every morning, particularly if you are not used to physical activity.


In addition, you should increase the amount of fruit and vegetable in your diet, and cut down on high fat foods. These measures will directly help to lower your blood pressure, and will also help you lose weight, which in turn will help keep your pressure under control. You should also reduce salt consumption, and preferably stop consumption of alcohol and tobacco, particularly tobacco. You should also increase your intake of calcium, but before taking supplements it would be wise to check with your doctor.

If your blood pressure is extremely high, medication will be necessary. You should follow the advice and treatment prescribed by your doctor, as the measures described above will not be enough.
