Advice on Congestion in Kids
i asked a question about congestion in kids and the answer i got was like what y i say that is what is a base oil please be more clear on dirrections do i use baby oil or cooking oil and do i put it under her nose or on her c

Please do not use mineral oil on your baby. Almond oil or olive oil is much better. Old fashioned vicks is fine also to rub into her chest and a small dab under her nose.
You can also use a vaporizer with Eucalyptus oil at night in her room to help her breath better at night.

Sorry about not being more clear on the subject. A carrier oil that you can use is mineral oil or you can use vaseline, you want about 1/2 cup of oil or a trial size container of vaseline and add 3 drops of eucalyptus oil, lavender oil, or rosemary oil. Rub it on the chest, not directly under the nose. You can also use the oil in a diffuser of vaporizer, just add a few drops with the water.
